Although nothing beats meeting with a patient in person, doing telemedicine has many pros such as:

• Patients may feel less vulnerable in the comfort of their own home in comparison to a doctor’s office
• It is easier for patients to schedule and keep appointments that fit their schedule
• It is more cost effective

Patients can still meet with their primary care physician without putting themselves at risk
