SLEEP APNEA TESTING

We can help you sleep again
SLEEP QUIZOUR PROVIDER

Sleep Apnea testing, we offer comprehensive evaluation and testing, put together a treatment plan, educate our patients, and follow up with them.

Some of these tests require our patient to spend the night in our sleep lab, where brain wave activity, heart rate, electrical activity of the heart, breathing, and oxygen in the blood are measured.

For the convenience of our patients, these studies are performed in three locations: Crowley, Fort Worth, and Eastchase for sleep disorders testing and Sleep Apnea.

SLEEP APNEA TESTING, TEST RESULTS, AND TREATMENT PLAN

Dr. Nagwa Lamaie, Board Certified in Sleep Medicine, reviews and interprets all sleep investigations. After that, she will provide practical usage instructions and treatment recommendations tailored to each patient’s needs.

FOLLOW UP ON SLEEP TREATMENT PLAN

Regular follow-up appointments are scheduled to guarantee that the treatment benefits are optimized and to revise treatment plans as needed.

POLYSOMNOGRAM (PSG)

(PSG) (click on the word to get the information below)
This detailed diagnostic test monitors the patient in the lab. The data collected allows the physician to determine any specific sleep disorders.

SEEP DISORDERS TESTING, HOME SLEEP APNEA TEST (HSAT )

This therapeutic study focuses on treatment. The technician monitors the sleeping patient while gradually increasing the level of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure; thus, eliminating any apneic events by forming an air splint in the airway, alleviating pressure.

SPLIT NIGHT STUDY
for sleep apnea testing

A Polysomnogram and CPAP Titration combined into one exam. If the patient has several apneic events, CPAP will be used to eliminate the apneas in sleep disorders testing.

MULTIPLE SLEEP LATENCY TEST

This test involves a series of naps following an overnight Narcolepsy Diagnostic Test. Upon awakening, the patient is instructed every two hours to lie down and rest. If the patient falls asleep, they are monitored from that time for 15 minutes. This series will be repeated four to five times in sleep apnea testing, depending on the findings.
