Licensed Vocational Nurse Position

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with procedures
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
  • Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and treatments
  • Assist with specimen collection processing and laboratory testing
  • Perform basic sonography procedures as needed
  • Ensure accurate coding and documentation of patient encounters

 

Experience required:

  • Must be a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) in the state of Texas
  • 2 year experience working in a healthcare setting is required
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is required
  • Proficient in basic nursing skills, including medication administration and wound care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Licenses/Certifications required:

  • LVN (Required)
  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • LPN (Preferred)

Physical setting:     Clinic

Standard shift:        Day shift

Weekly schedule:   Monday to Friday

Office location:        DFW Area with flexibility to commute/relocate between offices before starting the job

Job Type:                 Full-time

Salary:                       $17.83 – $21.47 per hour based on experience
